Cylinder Tracking System
We are the only compressed gas company on Long Island to offer cylinder tracking. Each cylinder is given a barcode, that is linked to a unique serial number stamped into the metal shoulder of every cylinder. The Trackabout tracking system helps our customers monitor stock levels and usage, and ensures accurate cylinder balances and billing. The barcodes are scanned anytime we fill the cylinder, when maintenance is performed, and when the cylinders are delivered or returned by our customers. This generates a detailed history of the cylinder asset, and ensures that the right customer is given credit no matter where a cylinder is returned from. This program has saved out customers thousands of dollars in rental and lost cylinder charges over the years.
